Alarming signs of war are emerging in the skies over the Indian Ocean. The United States has amassed an unprecedented number of stealth bombers at its Diego Garcia airbase, just 2,400 miles from Iran.

Satellite images from Planet Labs show six B-2 Spirit bombers parked on the runway. These aircraft are capable of carrying nuclear weapons. In addition, eight B-52 bombers, three C-17 transports, six KC-135 refueling tankers, and a P-8A surveillance plane have also been spotted on site.

The deployment coincides with the extended mission of the USS Carl Vinson strike group in the Middle East. Another U.S. aircraft carrier is reportedly en route. Tensions are rising fast.
