    WASHINGTON — The upcoming political talk shows are set to feature a roster of prominent figures discussing major national and international issues.

    ABC’s “This Week” will spotlight National Security Adviser Mike Waltz who will likely delve into pressing security concerns. Diane Swonk, the well-regarded chief economist at KPMG LLP, is expected to provide insights into the current economic landscape. Meanwhile, Dr. Ashish Jha, dean at the Brown University School of Public Health, will probably address ongoing public health issues.

    NBC’s “Meet the Press” has scheduled an appearance with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who will discuss economic policy decisions. Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut, a leading Democrat, will also join to contribute his viewpoints on nationwide policies.
