MILAN – Christian Pulisic continued his fine form in Serie A by finding the net on Saturday, spurring AC Milan to a stirring comeback win over Como, ending 2-1 in their favor.

Tijjani Reijnders was instrumental in the victory as he not only assisted Pulisic’s crucial second-half equalizer but also struck the winning goal shortly afterwards in the 75th minute.
With this strike, Pulisic now boasts three goals across his last two appearances, taking his Serie A tally to nine, and accumulating 15 goals in all competitions during the current season. This achievement matches his inaugural season goal count at Milan.
AC Milan climbed to seventh in the table, trailing fourth-positioned Juventus by five points, while Como maintained a seven-point cushion above the relegation zone.
Last weekend, Pulisic’s two-goal heroics were pivotal for Milan’s resilient 3-2 triumph over Lecce, which snapped a worrying three-game losing streak.
During the Saturday match, Milan initially found themselves trailing following Lucas Da Cunha’s powerful strike into the bottom left corner in the 33rd minute.
The home fans were vocal in their displeasure at halftime, and they almost had cause for further worry just four minutes into the second half when Da Cunha seemed to follow up with a second goal—however, it was disallowed for offside.
Instead, Milan seized the opportunity to equalize four minutes later thanks to a collaboration between Rafael Leão and Álex Jiménez on the left-wing, which led to Reijnders deftly playing in Pulisic, who coolly slotted home from a difficult angle.
Building on his influence, Reijnders hit the crossbar before finally notching the winner with a composed finish, courtesy of Tammy Abraham’s clever backheel.
Como’s day went from bad to worse when Dele Alli, making his return to the pitch after a two-year hiatus, was sent off with a red card for a foul against Ruben Loftus-Cheek just nine minutes into his substitute appearance.
In other fixtures, Monza’s captain, Armando Izzo, ended his scoring drought of more than two years with a goal, but it wasn’t enough to earn them a victory as they drew 1-1 against Parma. Izzo’s strike came in the 60th minute, only for Parma’s Ange-Yoan Bonny to equalize with a solo effort just six minutes from time.
Monza remains 10 points adrift of safety, whereas 17th-placed Parma edged three points clear of the drop zone.
Additionally, Hellas Verona secured a vital 1-0 victory over Udinese, thanks to an Ondrej Duda free kick, marking the end of Udinese’s six-match unbeaten run.
Elsewhere, Empoli sits three points below Parma after succumbing to Torino with a narrow 1-0 defeat.
