Fire crews rushed to the scene and worked fast to control the blaze. American Airlines confirmed that 172 passengers and six crew members were on board during the incident. Thankfully, no one suffered injuries. The airline and airport officials praised the crew and emergency responders for their quick actions, which helped ensure everyone’s safety.

Videos Show Flames and Thick Smoke Covering the Tarmac

Videos of the fire quickly appeared on social media, showing the impact on the American Airlines flight. Some clips showed the engine covered in flames while thick smoke rose into the air. Other airport videos showed passengers standing on the wing, waiting for rescue.. The sight of the burning plane was alarming, but emergency crews managed to put out the fire before it spread further. Many passengers shared their relief and gratitude for getting off the plane safely.

FAA to Investigate the Cause of the Fire

Officials have not yet determined what caused the engine fire. The FAA has launched an investigation to find out what went wrong.
