Lillian Asala, 13, vanishes in Wisconsin: Family seeks help

Lillian Asala, a 13-year-old girl, has been missing since the afternoon of March 1 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. She told her family she needed some fresh air and left her house around 4 p.m. to go for a walk. She has not been seen since. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating her, and her family is desperate for her safe return.

Family’s worry grows as Lillian fails to return home after her walk

Lillian’s grandmother was watching her that afternoon. She gave her permission to walk to the nearby Abendschein Park, which was just a short distance from home. However, by 6 p.m., when the girl had not returned and stopped responding to calls or text messages, her family began to panic. They called the police for help, and the search began soon after.

Last known location at Abendschein Park: Community reports seeing girl alone

Phone data revealed that Lillian’s last known location was near the picnic tables at Abendschein Park. Several children who were at the park that evening reported seeing the girl sitting by herself. The police tracked her phone’s GPS to a location about a mile away from the park, but despite the efforts, Lillian has not been found. Authorities are still trying to piece together where she might have gone after leaving the park.

Community joins forces to find Lillian: Strong support for her safe return

Lillian’s great-uncle, Bob Czarnecki, shared his appreciation for the community’s support. “People have generously offered their help, whether it’s by donating time, printing flyers, or offering physical help,” he said. “The outpouring of support has been overwhelming.” He described the effort to find Lillian as emotional but comforting, as the community has come together to try and bring her home.

What to look for in order to help locate her

Lillian is described as 5 feet tall, weighing about 140 pounds. She has blonde hair and wears braces. On the day she went missing, she was wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans, and blue and white Nike shoes. Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for her, especially in the area around Abendschein Park and nearby neighborhoods.

If anyone has seen the girl or has any information about her location, they are urged to contact the Oak Creek Police Department at 414-762-8200. The family is hopeful for her safe return and asks everyone to stay alert and share any details that could help find her.
