In an exciting new development, a massive segment of a decommissioned jumbo jet, known for being converted into a party spot during the 2017 Burning Man Festival, is set to embark on its next chapter just off the bustling Las Vegas Strip.
This iconic fixture, which includes both the cockpit and part of the fuselage of a Boeing 747, made its way from its previous location at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to its new home at the enchanting entertainment hub called AREA15. Situated on the northern edge of Las Vegas, AREA15 is renowned for its immersive art installations, such as the illustrious Meow Wolf.
The aircraft, which was stripped down following its stint at the unique Nevada event held in the Black Rock Desert, is poised to be reimagined as a vibrant space for events and nightlife within the dynamic confines of AREA15.
“We aim to honor the artistic community while finding novel and immersive ways for people to appreciate art,” explained Pearl Verzosa, who leads marketing efforts for the AREA15 district. “Our doors are open to everyone; we want families, friends, and partners to enjoy an exceptional experience here. We believe that the airplane will become one of those truly remarkable destinations.”
