    HOUSTON — In an impressive display on the court, Bryson Dawkins delivered an outstanding performance by scoring a personal record of 41 points, propelling Houston Christian to a decisive 72-56 victory over Stephen F. Austin on Monday night.
    Dawkins was on point, successfully making 16 out of his 22 attempts, including five shots from beyond the arc. Additionally, he contributed a significant 10 rebounds, providing a crucial boost to the Huskies’ lineup. Houston Christian, with this win, now holds a 12-17 record overall and a 9-9 record in the Southland Conference.
    Apart from Dawkins’ notable achievement, D’Aundre Samuels also put up a solid performance, adding 10 points to the team’s score.
    On the other side, the Lumberjacks of Stephen F. Austin, who now stand at 14-15 overall and 7-11 in conference play, were primarily driven by Keon Thompson. He managed to score 16 points while also securing six rebounds.
