Michael Gray Jr. was the standout performer for the Colonels, putting up an impressive 22 points. Gray had a solid shooting performance, going 5 for 10 overall and making 4 of his 8 attempts from beyond the arc. He was also reliable at the free-throw line, sinking 8 out of 10 shots. Crucially, Gray sank two clutch free throws with just six seconds remaining, giving Nicholls a decisive five-point advantage.
