Demonstrating his prowess on the court, Kellman concluded the game with a staggering 29 points, alongside a solid contribution of 10 rebounds, marking a personal career-high performance.
This victory comes hot on the heels of Kellman’s prior record-setting match against Stetson, where he racked up 24 points to propel the Eagles (now with a season record of 17-13 and 12-5 within the Atlantic Sun Conference) to an 83-80 win. Teamwork was evident as Dallion Johnson contributed a valuable 18 points, managed to pull down five rebounds, and handed out five assists. Meanwhile, Zavian McLean added depth to the scoreboard with 12 points, further complemented by his seven rebounds and three crucial steals.
On the opposing side, the North Florida Ospreys (holding a season record of 15-15 and 8-9 in conference play) showed tenacity through the efforts of Nate Lliteras, Jaylen Smith, and Liam Murphy, each achieving 16 points. Lliteras also collected eight rebounds and executed three blocks, whereas Smith facilitated play with seven assists, and Murphy completed the stat line with three steals.
