    AUGUSTA, Georgia — A total of 91 competitors are set to participate in the 89th edition of the Masters Tournament, scheduled to take place from April 10 to April 13. Players have been categorized based on their eligibility for entry, and here’s the roster of participants.

    Among the champions of the Masters, the list includes renowned golfers such as Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Hideki Matsuyama, Dustin Johnson, Tiger Woods, Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia, Danny Willett, Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson, Adam Scott, Charl Schwartzel, Phil Mickelson, Angel Cabrera, Zach Johnson, Mike Weir, Vijay Singh, Jose Maria Olazabal, Bernhard Langer, and Fred Couples.

    In the PGA champions’ category, current contenders are Xander Schauffele, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikawa, all of whom have won the PGA Championship in the last five years.

    U.S. Open champions in this year’s Masters contingent include Bryson DeChambeau, Wyndham Clark, and Matt Fitzpatrick, all winners in the last five years. British Open winners who have qualified are Brian Harman and Cameron Smith, also from the past five years.

    The NCAA champion, a-Hiroshi Tai, along with a few U.S. Amateur champions and runners-up, will also be seen in Augusta; these include a-Jose Luis Ballester and a-Noah Kent. The U.S. Mid-Amateur champion, a-Evan Beck, and the Latin American Amateur champion, a-Justin Hastings, round out this category.

    Additionally, those who finished within the top 12 and ties at the previous year’s Masters include Ludvig Aberg, Max Homa, Will Zalatoris, Tyrrell Hatton, Cameron Young, Matthieu Pavon, Adam Schenk, and Cameron Davis.

    From the 2024 PGA Championship, the top four finishers and ties who have earned a spot are Viktor Hovland and Thomas Detry. Similarly, the top four and ties from the 2024 U.S. Open will include Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, and Tony Finau, with Justin Rose and Thriston Lawrence representing those from the 2024 British Open.

    Additional hopefuls include PGA Tour winners who have accumulated full FedEx Cup points since the last Masters, which consist of Taylor Pendrith, Davis Riley, Robert MacIntyre, Davis Thompson, Jhonattan Vegas, Aaron Rai, Keegan Bradley, Patton Kizzire, Kevin Yu, Matt McCarty, J.T. Poston, Nico Echavarria, Austin Eckroat, Rafael Campos, Maverick McNealy, Nick Taylor, and Harris English along with Brian Campbell.

    Furthermore, participants from the 2024 Tour Championship feature Sam Burns, Sungjae Im, Sahith Theegala, Shane Lowry, Byeong Hun An, Russell Henley, Akshay Bhatia, Billy Horschel, Tommy Fleetwood, Sepp Straka, Chris Kirk, Tom Hoge, and Christiaan Bezuidenhout.

    The top 50 golfers from the final world rankings in 2024, which includes notable names like Tom Kim, Nick Dunlap, Max Greyserman, Rasmus Hojgaard, Jason Day, Corey Conners, Denny McCarthy, Min Woo Lee, and Lucas Glover, have earned invitations as well.

    Lastly, special invitations have been extended to Nicolai Hojgaard and Joaquin Niemann, ensuring a diverse and competitive field is set for the prestigious tournament.
