Mullins contributes 17 points in Montana State’s 74-69 win over Idaho State

    BOZEMAN, Mont. — In an intense matchup, Montana State edged out Idaho State with a score of 74-69 on Saturday evening, thanks in large part to Jabe Mullins’ impressive performance, where he scored 17 points.
    Mullins showcased his shooting skills, hitting 6 of his 11 attempts from the field and nailing 3 out of 6 from three-point range. The Bobcats, now holding a record of 12-15 overall and 7-7 in the Big Sky Conference, also saw strong contributions from Brandon Walker who scored 15 points through 4 of 7 shooting and a commendable 7 of 8 from the charity stripe. Max Agbonkpolo chipped in with 14 points, shooting 5 for 11 overall, with 2 of those being from beyond the arc, and converting 2 out of 3 free throws.
    On the opposing side, the Bengals were led by Dylan Darling, who put up a noteworthy 27 points along with four assists. Meanwhile, Jake O’Neil supported the team with 18 points, seven rebounds, and three steals, while Connor Hollenbeck contributed eight points to the effort. Idaho State’s record now stands at 11-13, with a conference record of 6-7.
    Looking ahead, Montana State is set to face off against Montana in their next game on Saturday at home. Conversely, Idaho State will host Portland State this Thursday.
