McCray’s 16 Points Propel Jacksonville to 77-62 Victory Against Central Arkansas

    The Jacksonville Dolphins secured a solid victory against Central Arkansas Bears, winning 77-62 on Thursday night in Conway, Arkansas.

    Robert McCray was a standout for the Dolphins, contributing 16 points while also grabbing five rebounds. Jacksonville improved their record to 16-9 overall and 10-3 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

    Kent Jackson also made a significant impact, scoring 14 points with an impressive shooting performance, hitting 5 out of 7 attempts, and 4 out of 6 from three-point range. Meanwhile, both Kendall Munson and Chris Arias chipped in with 10 points each, further solidifying the Dolphins’ scoring efforts.

    On the other side, Nehemiah Turner was the leading scorer for the Bears, posting 18 points, along with seven rebounds, six assists, and four blocks. His all-around performance highlighted the team’s efforts despite the loss. Ben Fox contributed 15 points, while Diogo Seixas added another 10 points to the Bears’ tally, who now stand at 6-20 on the season and 2-11 in conference play.

    Looking ahead, both teams are set to return to action on Saturday. Jacksonville will travel to face North Alabama, while Central Arkansas will host North Florida.
