MARTIN, Tenn. — In a thrilling overtime finish, Jaylon Johnson played a key role in Tennessee Tech’s 89-85 victory over UT Martin on Saturday night. He knocked down a crucial 3-pointer and added four successful free throws in the closing moments of the extra period, solidifying the win for his team.

Leading the Golden Eagles (10-11, 5-5 in the Ohio Valley Conference) was JaJuan Nicholls, who put up an impressive 23 points along with seven rebounds. Ray Glasgow contributed significantly as well, scoring 21 points and shooting 7 of 11 from the floor, with 2 of his attempts coming from beyond the arc. He also made 5 out of 6 free throws while securing eight rebounds. Jaylon Johnson rounded out the scoring for the team with a solid performance, going 3 of 6 from the field, including 3 of 5 from 3-point territory, and a perfect 12 for 12 from the free-throw line to finish with 21 points.

On the other side, the Skyhawks (9-12, 5-5) were led by Vladimer Salaridze, who recorded a superb game with 29 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks.
