NEW YORK — Two significant fires in the Los Angeles area have now entered their third week, leading to the destruction of over 14,000 structures and displacing countless individuals. Amidst the challenges posed by these devastating wildfires, various relief efforts are underway across local communities, particularly with many musicians joining forces for a special event known as the FireAid benefit concert.

Prominent artists including Billie Eilish, Jelly Roll, Peso Pluma, Joni Mitchell, Sting, Anderson .Paak, and iconic California bands like No Doubt and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are among the 28 performers scheduled to participate in this one-night-only event, slated for January 30th at two venues in Los Angeles.

FireAid is a high-profile concert designed to garner funds for wildfire relief in the Los Angeles region. The concert is being organized by Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff family in collaboration with Live Nation and AEG Presents. Proceeds from FireAid will be allocated in consultation with the Annenberg Foundation, focusing on both immediate relief efforts and long-term strategies aimed at preventing future fire disasters. According to an official statement, all funds raised during the concert at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum will be directed towards designated beneficiaries.

The FireAid concert is set to take place in Inglewood, California, on January 30th, featuring performances starting at 6:00 PM PST at the Kia Forum and at 7:30 PM PST at the Intuit Dome.

Performers at the Intuit Dome will include stars like Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Tate McRae, and Earth, Wind & Fire. At the Kia Forum, fans can enjoy acts like Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, Pink, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, the Black Crowes, Dave Matthews, and John Mayer, who will be performing together live for the first time.

For those wishing to watch from home, FireAid will be streamed live on a variety of platforms, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube. Additionally, select AMC Theatre locations across the U.S. will show the concert.

Tickets for FireAid will become available for purchase on Wednesday at 12 PM PST through Ticketmaster, starting at a price of $99. Notably, both performing venues and Ticketmaster have decided to waive fees for this event, ensuring that all revenue goes directly towards FireAid relief efforts.

It’s important to note that attendees of the Intuit Dome will have the opportunity to view performances from the Kia Forum on screens within their venue before their own concert begins, while Kia Forum attendees will experience the same after their acts conclude.

Furthermore, The Weeknd recently contributed $1 million to support the LAFD Foundation, GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund, and the LA Regional Food Bank.

The Recording Academy and MusiCares have also initiated the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, supported by a $1 million donation, and with additional contributions, they have since provided $2 million in emergency assistance to those impacted by the wildfires.
