Evans not only shined on the offensive end but also grabbed five rebounds, helping his team improve to a record of 10-9 overall and 4-0 in the America East Conference.
Joining him in the scoring efforts, Rafael Pinzon contributed 16 points, hitting 7 of 16 attempts, which included 2 successful three-point shots out of 8 attempts.
Additionally, Connor Withers added 15 points to the scoreboard, making 5 of 13 shots and showing a strong presence from three-point range, sinking 5 out of 11 attempts.
For UMass-Lowell, which now holds a record of 13-6 and 2-2 in conference play, Max Brooks was the top scorer with 12 points while also pulling down eight rebounds.
Alongside him, Yuri Covington matched Brooks’ scoring output with 12 points, providing crucial support to the River Hawks.
Martin Somerville also made his mark with 11 points and contributed four assists along with three steals, but it was not enough to secure a win against the Bulldogs.
