JERSEY CITY, N.J. — In a closely contested matchup on Thursday night, the Marist Red Foxes secured a 56-51 victory over the Saint Peter’s Peacocks, thanks in large part to Jackson Price’s contribution of 16 points.
Price showcased his shooting skills, making 6 out of 9 attempts from the field, with an impressive 4 of 5 from beyond the arc. This victory improved Marist’s record to 13 wins and only 2 losses, maintaining their undefeated status in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at 6-0.
In addition to Price, Josh Pascarelli made his mark on the game with 10 points and three steals, while Elijah Lewis also added 10 points, supporting their team’s offensive efforts.
On the opposing side, the Peacocks were led by Armoni Zeigler, who contributed 14 points along with nine rebounds. Saint Peter’s also saw notable performances from Marcus Randolph, who scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Bryce Eaton, who rounded out the scoring with 11 points, in addition to supplying four assists and two steals.
This competitive clash highlighted the resilience of both teams as they vied for a crucial win in their respective campaigns.
