In a thrilling matchup held in Dayton, Ohio, Darius Maddox was instrumental in leading George Mason to a 67-59 victory over the Dayton Flyers on Wednesday night.
Maddox showcased impressive shooting skills, finishing the game with 20 points on an 8-for-11 shooting performance, including a remarkable 4-for-5 accuracy from three-point range.
He was supported offensively by Jalen Haynes, who contributed 12 points with a 5-of-8 shooting effort, and K.D. Johnson, who also made nine points while going 3-of-6 from the field and 2-of-3 at the charity stripe.

On the opposing side, Nate Santos emerged as the top scorer for the Flyers, matching Maddox’s performance with 20 points.
Malachi Smith also made a notable contribution by scoring 14 points while adding five assists, and Enoch Cheeks rounded out the scoring with 11 points.

At halftime, George Mason held a solid lead, dominating the scoreboard with a 41-27 advantage thanks largely to Maddox’s 13 first-half points.
