CHICAGO — In a thrilling finish, Duke Deen netted the decisive 3-pointer with just two seconds left on the clock, leading the Braves to a narrow 61-60 victory over UIC on Saturday afternoon. Zek Montgomery was instrumental for Bradley, contributing 15 points in the matchup.

Montgomery showcased his shooting skills, making 5 of 10 attempts, including 2 of 4 from beyond the arc. He also converted 3 out of 5 attempts from the free-throw line. Deen followed closely behind, scoring 14 points and recording three steals, while Corey Thomas added to the team’s efforts with a perfect shooting performance, hitting 2 of 2 from the field and finishing strong at the line with 7 for 7 for a total of 11 points.

On the opposing side, Jordan Mason was a standout for the Flames, scoring 15 points and making two steals.
