Jaeden Marshall delivered an impressive performance, scoring 21 points to lead the Niagara Purple Eagles to an 88-69 victory over Le Moyne on Sunday.
Marshall’s shooting was efficient as he connected on 5 out of 8 attempts, including 4 out of 6 from the three-point range, and clinched 7 out of 8 from the free-throw line, contributing significantly to his team’s win.
Joining him in a strong showing, Justice Smith added 15 points, shooting 6 for 12 overall, with a single three-pointer made out of three attempts, and converted 2 out of 3 free throws while also grabbing five rebounds.
Zion Russell also made his presence felt by scoring 11 points with a remarkable 100% accuracy from three-point territory, going 3 for 3, and shooting 4 for 7 overall.
On the opposing side, AJ Dancier led the Le Moyne Dolphins with 17 points and made a notable impact defensively with four steals.
Ocypher Owens contributed a solid effort as well, recording a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Dwayne Koroma added nine points and pulled down six rebounds, supporting his teammates in the effort.
