CORVALLIS, Ore. — In a compelling clash on Saturday night, Damarco Minor led Oregon State to a 67-55 victory against UC Irvine, scoring 19 points while also contributing nine rebounds and five assists.

The Beavers improved their record to 7-2, with Michael Rataj supporting the effort by netting 13 points on 4 of 10 shooting from the field and successfully converting 5 of 6 from the charity stripe. Additionally, Parsa Fallah recorded 12 points, shooting 6 of 12 from the floor.

On the other side, the Anteaters, who fell to 9-1, were paced by Justin Hohn, who managed to score 10 points along with two steals. Devin Tillis provided nine points and secured seven rebounds while also recording two steals. Myles Che contributed eight points to the cause. This loss marked the end of a promising nine-game winning streak for UC Irvine.

The Beavers extended their lead by outscoring UC Irvine by eight points in the second period, where Minor showcased his scoring prowess by adding another 11 points.
