    HAMDEN, Conn. — In an exciting matchup, Khaden Bennett spearheaded Quinnipiac’s victory over Sacred Heart with a standout performance, scoring 23 points in the game that ended 83-73 on Sunday.

    Bennett also contributed significantly to the team effort by grabbing five rebounds. The Bobcats’ Amarri Tice supported the win with 19 points, despite a shooting performance that saw him go 6 for 16 from the floor, including 2 for 11 from beyond the arc. Nevertheless, Tice was perfect at the free-throw line, hitting all five attempts, and recorded five rebounds along with a remarkable eight steals. Paul Otieno made his mark as well, completing the game with 12 points from shooting 5 of 9 overall and connecting on 2 of his 4 free-throw attempts, while also contributing three blocks.

    On the other side of the court, Amiri Stewart was the top scorer for Sacred Heart, amassing 18 points alongside eight rebounds and three steals. Anquan Hill made his presence felt with 15 points, while Bryce Johnson added a valuable 11 points to the Pioneers’ efforts.
