OMAHA, Neb. — On Saturday night, Jamiya Neal’s impressive performance, scoring 19 points, led the Creighton Bluejays to a commanding 83-65 victory over UNLV.
Neal also contributed significantly in other areas, securing nine rebounds, dishing out nine assists, and recording four blocks, which showcased his all-around skills on the court for the Bluejays, who now hold a record of 7-3.
Steven Ashworth supported the efforts with 17 points and added seven assists, while Isaac Traudt had a notable night as well, scoring 15 points and shooting 5 for 8 overall, including an impressive 5 for 7 from beyond the three-point line.

For the Rebels, Jailen Bedford led the scoring with 20 points, complemented by three steals.
Dedan Thomas Jr. also had a solid performance, contributing 18 points for UNLV, while Julian Rishwain chipped in with 10 points and two steals.

Creighton quickly took control of the game, seizing the lead just 1 minute and 12 seconds into the first half and maintaining it until the end.

In the second half, Creighton extended its lead dramatically to 49-27, largely due to a 10-0 scoring run.
Ashworth led his team in the second half with 10 points as they finished the game strong, sealing the victory decisively.
