In a dynamic matchup on Wednesday night, Fordham emerged victorious over Fairleigh Dickinson with a final score of 84-75, significantly bolstered by Jackie Johnson III’s impressive performance, where he contributed 21 points.
Johnson also recorded five rebounds and five assists during the game, aiding his team, the Rams, to improve their record to 5-5.
Jahmere Tripp was another standout for Fordham, netting 20 points with an efficient shooting performance, including 7 for 10 from the field, and 5 of 6 from the charity stripe, while also grabbing 10 rebounds.
Romad Dean contributed significantly as well, finishing with 13 points by shooting 4 of 9 from the field and hitting 5 of 7 free throws, alongside nine rebounds to bolster the team’s effort.
On the other side, Terrence Brown put in a notable performance for Fairleigh Dickinson (3-7), leading his team with 23 points, along with four assists and three steals.
His teammate Brayden Reynolds added to the score with 16 points, and Dylan Jones contributed 11 points.

By halftime, the Rams had established a 44-34 lead, with Johnson accounting for 11 of those points.
In the second half, they built on a slim three-point lead, launching an 11-0 run that extended their advantage to 14 points, bringing the score to 71-57 with 6:46 remaining.
Tripp was instrumental during this stretch, contributing 12 points in the second half alone.
