WINNIPEG, Manitoba — The St. Louis Blues secured a 4-1 win against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night, powered by a strong performance from Jordan Kyrou, who netted two goals, and Dylan Holloway, who contributed one goal along with an assist. This victory marks the Blues’ fourth consecutive game with points, indicating their strong form.

Kyrou and Holloway quickly established a lead for St. Louis, both scoring within just 39 seconds during a four-on-four situation. Kyrou opened the scoring at 18:04 of the second period when his rebound deflected off Mark Scheifele’s skate, and shortly after, at 18:43, Holloway tallied his eighth goal of the season by converting his own rebound past Jets’ goalie Connor Hellebuyck.

The third period saw Kyrou extend the lead to 3-0 at 6:38, receiving a pass from Holloway, who was sitting on the ice, and delivering a successful shot from the high slot. With this performance, Holloway has now achieved a notable four-game point streak, accumulating four goals and three assists during this span.

St. Louis goaltender Joel Hofer was solid between the pipes, recording 22 saves. In contrast, Hellebuyck managed to stop 28 of the 31 shots directed at him from the Blues. The lone bright spot for the Jets came from Scheifele, who scored their only goal. However, the team is now experiencing a rough patch, having lost four games in a row and posting a dismal record of 1-5-0 in their last six contests.

In terms of notable events, the Jets struggled throughout the second period, which worsened when Kyrou and Holloway struck within quick succession, effectively putting the game out of reach. Another significant stat reveals that the Blues have earned points in their last four games with a record of 3-0-1, all under the guidance of newly appointed head coach Jim Montgomery.

Looking ahead, the Jets will face the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, while the Blues will take on the Calgary Flames on the same day.
