CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In a dominant performance, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi basketball team triumphed over Texas Lutheran with a score of 94-45 on Tuesday night.
Kam Parker was a standout player for the Islanders, scoring 15 points, shooting an impressive 5 for 6 from the field, and demonstrating his three-point prowess with 4 of 5 shots made from beyond the arc.
Stephen Faramade contributed significantly to the team’s success, finishing the game with 11 points, including 4 of 6 shooting from the floor and making 3 of 4 free throws, along with grabbing seven rebounds.
Another key contributor was Garry Clark, who also scored 11 points. He showcased efficient shooting with 4 of 5 from the field and converting 3 of 4 attempts from the charity stripe.
On the opposing side, the Bulldogs struggled to keep pace, with Trey Blackmore leading their effort with nine points and two steals. Isaac Orozco and Easton Allen each chipped in with six points to round out the scoring for Texas Lutheran.
