A solo appearance in Southern California
Meghan Markle recently hosted a heartfelt Thanksgiving dinner for Afghan women resettled in the U.S., through her Archewell Foundation’s partnership with Mina’s List. Prince Harry was notably absent, fueling reports of a professional separation between the couple.
Empowering women through shared experiences
In a statement released on the Archewell website, Markle described the dinner as an event centered on “gratitude and resilience,” where Afghan women shared personal stories and cultural experiences. The gathering took place at Our Place, a venue founded by Shiza Shahid, where attendees received cookware as gifts for the holidays.
Prince Harry’s commitments in Canada
Meanwhile, Prince Harry attended Invictus Games-related events in Vancouver, Canada, marking another solo appearance for the Duke of Sussex. Despite the recent independent engagements, the couple appeared together earlier this month in a video discussing children’s safety online, hinting at recent challenges in their work dynamic.
Upcoming joint plans
Looking ahead, the Duke and Duchess are set to attend the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada, an event their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, might also join. For now, both appear to be focusing on their individual initiatives while maintaining their shared goals through Archewell.
