MILWAUKEE — A strong performance by AJ McKee, who scored 21 points, propelled Milwaukee to a 91-74 victory over Portland State on Friday evening.
McKee made 9 out of 13 shots, including 2 of 6 from three-point range for the Panthers, who improved their record to 3-2. Themus Fulks also contributed significantly, scoring 20 points while distributing six assists. Darius Duffy had an impressive outing as well, adding 15 points and shooting a remarkable 7 of 8 from the field.
For Portland State, which now stands at 2-2, Shane Nowell was the top scorer with 14 points. His teammates included Jaylin Henderson, who recorded 12 points and three steals, and Terri Miller Jr., who chipped in with 10 points, but their efforts weren’t enough to overcome Milwaukee’s dominant performance.
Overall, the game showcased a compelling display of offensive skill from the Panthers, with key contributions from their star players leading to a decisive win.
