EVANSVILLE, Ind. — In a thrilling contest on Friday night, Jayland Randall led the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles to a 92-83 victory over the South Dakota Coyotes with an impressive performance, scoring a total of 24 points.

Randall demonstrated his shooting skills, hitting 9 of 15 attempts from the field, including three successful shots from beyond the arc out of six tries, and sinking 3 out of 4 free-throw attempts. This victory improved the Screaming Eagles’ record to 2-4.

Alongside Randall, Jared Washington contributed significantly to the team’s success with his 16 points, achieving a shooting percentage of 60% by making 6 of 10 shots, including 2 of 3 from three-point distance, and hitting 2 of 3 from the foul line. Stephen Olowoniyi also had a notable game, finishing with 14 points on 7 of 12 shooting while also grabbing seven rebounds and blocking three shots.

On the other side, the Coyotes, now with a record of 5-2, were led by Kaleb Stewart, who scored 21 points. Chase Forte added to the Coyotes’ efforts with 14 points as well, while Cameron Fens finished the game with 12 points and pulled down six rebounds.

This high-scoring affair showcased the offensive prowess of both teams, but ultimately, Southern Indiana emerged victorious in their home arena.
