EVANSVILLE, Ind.
— In an exciting matchup on Friday night, Cameron Haffner shone with an impressive performance, scoring 27 points as Evansville triumphed over Green Bay with a final score of 98-81.
Haffner not only led the scoring but also contributed significantly on the boards, collecting nine rebounds for the Purple Aces, who now hold a record of 2-4.
Supporting him in the scoring department, Joshua Hughes had a standout game, netting 19 points on an efficient shooting night, hitting 8 of 9 attempts from the field, in addition to grabbing five rebounds.
Tanner Cuff also made a notable contribution, finishing with 15 points, aided by shooting 4 of 5 from the field and successfully converting 6 of 8 free-throw attempts.

On the other side, the Phoenix, who are also at 2-4, were led by Anthony Roy, who had an impressive outing, scoring 31 points while also securing seven rebounds and making two steals.
Alongside him, Marcus Hall added 17 points to the team’s total, and Jeremiah Johnson chipped in with 11 points.

The game featured a strong start for Evansville, which led 46-31 at halftime, with Haffner scoring 14 points in the first half.
As the second half got underway, Evansville built on their lead, pushing it to 71-46, powered by an energizing 8-0 scoring spurt.
Haffner continued his scoring surge, adding another 13 points in the second half to cement the victory for Evansville.
