Banks scores 23 points in UNC Asheville’s 72-64 win over Southeast Missouri State

Josh Banks delivered an impressive performance, putting up 23 points as UNC Asheville triumphed over Southeast Missouri State with a final score of 72-64 on Friday evening.

The Bulldogs improved their record to 2-2, with Banks also contributing five rebounds to the team’s effort. Toyaz Solomon supported the cause with 17 points and secured 11 rebounds, showcasing a strong all-around game. Jordan Marsh played a significant role as well, scoring 14 points on a shooting line of 4 for 13, including an unmade attempt from beyond the arc, and converting 6 of 7 from the free-throw line, while also grabbing eight rebounds.

On the other side of the court, Tedrick Washington Jr. was the standout for the Redhawks, scoring 15 points in addition to collecting seven rebounds and making two steals. Rob Martin offered additional support with 13 points, while BJ Ward joined the scoring efforts with a total of 10 points.
