NATCHITOCHES, La. — In a thrilling finish, Tyreese Watson connected on a key jumper with just 4 seconds remaining, leading UL Monroe to a narrow 65-63 win over Northwestern State on Friday evening.

Watson was instrumental for the Warhawks, finishing the game with 16 points, shooting 5 out of 11 from the field and making 5 of his 6 attempts from the charity stripe. He was supported by Jalen Bolden, who added 13 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Makai Willis contributed 11 points to the scoreboard.
