SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Britt Prince led the Nebraska Cornhuskers to a commanding 113-70 victory over the South Dakota Coyotes on Saturday night, scoring 23 points. Natalie Potts contributed significantly with 22 points in the match. The 21st-ranked Cornhuskers improved to an impressive 4-0 record.

Prince showcased her shooting skills by making 10 out of 13 attempts from the floor, including two successful 3-pointers. She also contributed four assists to her team’s effort. Potts was equally efficient, with her stat line reflecting 8 out of 10 from the field, hitting both of her 3-point attempts, and converting all four of her free throws. On top of her scoring, she secured seven rebounds for Nebraska.

Alexis Markowski added depth to the team’s performance with 14 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Off the bench, Kendall Coley shined with a perfect shooting night, scoring 12 points and hitting all four of her from 3-point range. Another reserve, Kendall Moriarty, supported the scoring with 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Grace Larkins was the standout for the Coyotes, finishing with 28 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Larkins shot an efficient 11 of 18 while connecting on three long-range shots. Teammate Alexi Hempe added 14 points, including four 3-pointers, while Carley Duffney contributed 10 points.

The game began with Nebraska quickly scoring the first seven points, but Larkins responded with a 3-pointer for South Dakota. She later capped off a 12-3 run, putting the Coyotes ahead 15-13. In response, Potts ignited a 16-3 run for the Cornhuskers with two free throws, a pair of field goals, and a 3-pointer to conclude the quarter at 29-18, after which Nebraska maintained control throughout the match.

The Cornhuskers displayed impressive shooting efficiency, hitting 63% of their shots from the floor (41 of 65) and making 20 of 34 attempts from beyond the arc (58.8%). They also converted all 11 of their free-throw attempts. Additionally, Nebraska dominated the boards, out-rebounding the Coyotes 41-19, and capitalized on 10 turnovers, converting them into 18 points.

Looking ahead, Nebraska is set to continue their home streak as they prepare to take on North Alabama this Tuesday for their fifth consecutive game at home.
