In a dominant display on Wednesday evening, Elias Cato led Central Arkansas to a commanding 108-49 victory over Randall. Cato contributed significantly to the team’s win by scoring 19 points, while also securing eight rebounds for the Bears, who improved their record to 1-2.
Alongside Cato, Layne Taylor had an impressive performance, tallying 18 points after hitting 6 of his 13 shots, which included five successful 3-pointers out of ten attempts. Taylor also contributed with five rebounds and five assists, showcasing his all-around skills.
Cole McCormick also played a key role in the Bears’ victory, scoring 16 points. He finished the night shooting 6 of 16 from the field, although he struggled from beyond the arc, making just two of eleven 3-point attempts.
On the other side, the Saints’ leading scorer was Cooper Gudell, who managed to put up 15 points in the game. Randall also received contributions from Eli Riley, who added eight points to the scoreboard.
