In a tightly contested game on Monday night, Austin Peay emerged victorious against Chattanooga with a score of 67-61. LJ Thomas was a significant contributor for the Governors, netting 18 points and grabbing five rebounds, helping his team improve to a perfect 3-0 for the season.

Alongside Thomas, Sai Witt made an impactful contribution by scoring 17 points and securing eight rebounds. Isaac Haney also turned in a solid performance, finishing with 14 points while showcasing his shooting accuracy, hitting 4 of 5 attempts overall, including 3 out of 4 from beyond the arc, and converting 3 out of 5 free throw attempts.
