In addition to his scoring prowess, Evans also recorded six assists and four steals, showcasing his all-around skills for the Owls, who improved to a record of 2-0 for the season. Kaleb Glenn also shined, shooting 7 for 10 from the field, including an impressive 3 for 6 from three-point range, to add another 18 points. Tre Carroll supported the effort, finishing the night with 14 points, shooting 6 of 10 from the floor and struggling slightly at the free-throw line, where he went 1 of 4.
Coastal Georgia’s top scorer was Amaru Grosvenor, who managed to contribute 12 points to his team’s total, while Valdy Zephir chipped in with 10 points of his own. Despite their efforts, the Mariners struggled to keep pace with the Owls throughout the game.
