In a strong showing on Thursday night, Isaiah Rivera contributed significantly to DePaul’s victory with 17 points, leading the Blue Demons to a 92-59 triumph over Prairie View A&M.
Rivera had an impressive shooting night, hitting 5 of 9 shots from the field, with a standout performance from beyond the arc, where he made 3 out of 7 attempts. He was also perfect at the free-throw line, sinking all four attempts.
In addition to Rivera’s offense, N.J. Benson added 15 points and dominated on the boards with nine rebounds, while Jacob Meyer chipped in 13 points, going 3 of 10 from the floor and converting 6 of 8 free throws despite struggling from three-point territory (1 of 4).
