BOSTON — Representative Seth Moulton, a Democrat, successfully secured his reelection to the U.S. House, representing Massachusetts.

Moulton has been serving in Congress since 2014, after winning a seat for the state’s 6th District, which includes numerous towns and cities north of Boston, such as Salem, Gloucester, and Rockport.

Prior to his political career, Moulton joined the Marine Corps in 2001, which was before the tragic events of September 11th. Since entering Congress, he has been an advocate for several important initiatives, notably the establishment of the 988 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Additionally, he has been a strong supporter of securing funding for high-speed rail projects and improving health care access for veterans. Moulton ran for reelection without opposition this time around and is a member of three significant committees, including the House Armed Services Committee and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
