TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Omarion Hampton delivered an impressive performance with four rushing touchdowns and a 49-yard touchdown reception, leading North Carolina to a decisive 35-11 victory over Florida State on Saturday.

Hampton accumulated a total of 172 yards on the ground and added 93 yards through the air, bringing his season total to 14 touchdowns for the Tar Heels (5-4, 2-3 in the Atlantic Coast Conference). The senior running back has now recorded seven consecutive games with over 100 rushing yards.

Mack Brown, who graduated from Florida State, celebrated his first win against the Seminoles after struggling previously. He entered this matchup with an 0-8 record against his alma mater during two separate tenures at UNC and was 0-3 during his time at Tulane in the mid-1980s.

Brock Glenn contributed for Florida State (1-8, 1-7) by passing for 123 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown throw to Ja’Khi Douglas. This loss marks Florida State’s fifth consecutive defeat this season.

In the first half, Seminoles kicker Ryan Fitzgerald made a notable 56-yard field goal, but overall the team struggled offensively, managing only 61 yards before halftime and trailing 14-3 at the break.

**Key Observations**
For North Carolina, the Tar Heels showcased their offensive strength by averaging 5.3 yards per carry and successfully converting 11 of 16 attempts on third downs, contributing significantly to their commanding win.

Conversely, Florida State found it challenging to generate momentum, especially in the first half, which highlighted their ongoing difficulties as they experienced yet another loss.

**Looking Ahead**
North Carolina will enjoy a bye week before welcoming Wake Forest on November 16.

Meanwhile, Florida State is set to face Notre Dame in an away game next Saturday.
