NEW YORK — Following the Los Angeles Dodgers’ World Series triumph, Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts have ensured their contributions are remembered by donating their equipment to the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Freeman provided his cleats worn during Games 1 and 2 of the series against the New York Yankees, while Betts contributed the batting gloves he used in Game 5, as confirmed by the Hall after the Dodgers’ decisive five-game victory on Wednesday night.

Additionally, Manager Dave Roberts contributed a cap to the collection, and pitcher Anthony Banda donated a jersey. Walker Buehler added a glove to the donations, while injured pitcher Clayton Kershaw contributed a championship cap that was soaked in celebration.

Max Muncy also made a notable donation, giving a bat and batting gloves from his impressive postseason record streak where he reached base 12 consecutive times. Catcher Will Smith contributed his chest protector and cap from the final game of the series.

The Hall of Fame also received a baseball from the ninth inning of the decisive game, though it was not the one that marked the last out of the Series.
