NASHVILLE, Tenn. — United Way Worldwide, in collaboration with Paramount Global, has announced a special fundraising event aimed at assisting those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The program will be broadcast on CBS Television and CMT at 8 p.m. EST this Saturday, as detailed in a recent press release.

The lineup of performers includes well-known artists such as Brittney Spencer, Carly Pearce, Chris Janson, Clay Aiken, Jonathan McReynolds, and Tyler Hubbard. Notable guests set to appear include the Backstreet Boys, Billy Bob Thornton, Billy Burke, Blake Shelton, Cedric The Entertainer, Cody Alan, Jackson Dean, JB SMOOVE, Kelsea Ballerini, Max Thieriot, Nate Burleson, Stephen Colbert, Taye Diggs, and the Zac Brown Band.

Angela F. Williams, the president and CEO of United Way Worldwide, expressed in a statement the organization’s commitment to rallying community support during times of need. “In times of crisis, United Way mobilizes the caring power of communities to help people in need,” she noted.

Funds raised from the event, which was recorded on October 27-28 in Nashville, will provide vital assistance to those who suffered due to the hurricanes impacting the southeastern United States.

Additionally, the benefit performance will be available for live streaming on Paramount+ and SHOWTIME.

Hurricane Helene caused extensive damage to remote towns in the Appalachian region, leaving millions without electricity, disrupting cellular networks, and resulting in over 200 fatalities. It has been marked as the deadliest hurricane to strike the U.S. mainland since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Just under two weeks later, Hurricane Milton made landfall on Florida’s west coast, bringing further devastation to the state.
