DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip — According to the Health Ministry in Gaza, an Israeli airstrike targeted a five-story building that was housing displaced Palestinians in northern Gaza. This attack, which took place early on Tuesday, resulted in the deaths of at least 34 individuals, with a significant portion of the victims being women and children.
The emergency services reported that around 20 additional people sustained injuries from the strike, which occurred in the northern town of Beit Lahiya, close to the Israeli border.
As of now, there has been no official response from the Israeli military regarding the incident.
