Titans complete their second trade of the day by exchanging linebackers with Seattle, according to AP source.

The Tennessee Titans executed a notable trade on Wednesday by exchanging linebackers with the Seattle Seahawks. The Titans sent Ernest Jones to Seattle in return for Jerome Baker, as indicated by a source with knowledge of the transaction.

In addition to the player exchange, Seattle will also provide a fourth-round draft pick to Tennessee. This information was relayed by an insider who preferred to remain anonymous since the teams have yet to publicly confirm the trade.

Jones’ time with the Titans was brief, following his acquisition from the Rams in late August. He enters the final year of his rookie contract after having led the Rams in tackles the previous season and served as their defensive signal-caller. During his short stint in Tennessee, Jones started in five of six games.

This trade marks a significant gain for the Titans, as they will receive a fourth-round pick for the upcoming draft along with a sixth-round pick in 2026 and Baker, while parting with a fifth-round pick in the same year. Baker, who is 27 years old, has been a starter in 87 out of 99 games in his career and recently signed a one-year contract with Seattle in March.

On the same day, the Titans also made headlines by trading three-time All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the two-time defending Super Bowl champions. This move aims to strengthen a position that has faced considerable injuries.
