MIAMI — The United States men’s soccer team is set to face Jamaica next month in the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Nations League, marking the initial competitive clash for the Americans under their new coach, Mauricio Pochettino.

The first match of the series is scheduled for November 14 in Kingston, followed by the return leg on November 18 in St. Louis. This announcement was made by the governing organization for soccer in North and Central America as well as the Caribbean on Wednesday.

Other quarterfinal matchups include Mexico taking on Honduras, Canada facing Suriname, and Panama squaring off against Costa Rica. It is worth noting that the United States has been quite successful in this tournament, having claimed victory in the first three editions of the competition.

Teams that win their quarterfinal matches will also secure a place in the CONCACAF Gold Cup set for next year, adding more significance to these upcoming encounters.
