Kobe Tracy led Idaho State to a resounding victory over Western Oregon with four touchdown passes. The Bengals dominated the game, including a blocked punt and a fumble return for touchdowns, securing a convincing 50-10 win against the Division II opponent.

Tracy’s stellar performance included three touchdown throws in the first half, contributing to Idaho State’s 27-0 lead by the second quarter. Just before halftime, Jayden Bell blocked a punt, and Junior Damuni scooped it up for another touchdown, further extending the Bengals’ lead to 34-3 going into the break.

Early in the third quarter, Janari Boone added to the scoring with a 28-yard fumble return touchdown, capitalizing on a forced fumble by Cortland Horton on Western Oregon’s quarterback Kainoa Jones. Tracy continued to shine, connecting for a fourth touchdown pass in the early fourth quarter, finishing with 343 yards on 28 completions, despite two interceptions.

Ian Duarte stood out for Idaho State as well, amassing 123 yards and scoring two touchdowns on nine receptions. The Bengals’ dominance on both sides of the ball was reflected in their 556-221 total yardage advantage over Western Oregon.

The game was heavily controlled by Idaho State, with a 50-3 lead before Western Oregon managed a 19-yard touchdown run by Fresh Ison. It was a comprehensive display of Idaho State’s superiority in the matchup, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive strength throughout the game.
