Cincinnati authorities, in collaboration with the FBI, are currently looking into the vandalism of almost 180 tombstones at two Jewish cemeteries. The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati stated that these graves, with some dating back to the late 1800s, were likely toppled between June 25 and Monday. The damage, discovered in two Jewish sections of the Covedale Cemetery complex, included tombstones being pushed face-down and some broken in half.
The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati expressed sympathy for the families impacted by this act of vandalism and emphasized their commitment to restoring the sanctity of the affected burial sites. They have urged individuals with any relevant information to assist in the ongoing investigation.
