It looks like Donald Trump is set for a political homerun in the Republican primaries in 2024.
The only two political hurdles on the way to his nomination are the coming two primaries in New Hampshire on January 23rd and in South Carolina on February 24th. In both states – New Hampshire is very liberal and allows independent voters to be part of the Republican primary and South Carolina is her home-state – Niki Haley has very strong poll numbers. Especially in New Hampshire there are some polls which give Niki Haley even the lead.
If Donald Trump is able to win New Hampshire and South Carolina there will be no stop for him on the way to the Republican nomination. Most insider are sure, that the race will be decided already on the so calles “Super Tuesday” as early as March 5 when the primaries will be held in 16 of the 50 US States like Texas, Virginia or California.
In California a new poll shows that Trump is leading the Republican primary already with more than 60 percent. By new rules California gives all its 169 votes to the candidat who wins with more than 50 percent – so Trump would have a landslide in the West Coast state which in former times hated him most.
The lead of Trump will be so large after Super Tuesday that all other candidates have to get out of the race – or just wait for court decisions which could stop Trumps candidacy as US President.
