All what’s new in Trump’s Oval Office decoration

President Donald Trump wasted no time making the Oval Office his own, decorating it with a collection of personal and sentimental items during his first day back in the White House.

Family Memories on Display
Behind the Resolute Desk, Trump arranged a table filled with framed family photos and a collection of challenge coins or badges. Among the photos were portraits of his late parents, Mary Anne and Fred Trump, as well as his late sister, Maryanne Trump Barry. Other images included Trump with a child in a baseball uniform, likely his son Barron, and a woman resembling his daughter Tiffany.

Nostalgic Touches Return
Trump’s display echoed elements from his first term, with over 30 challenge coins and badges featuring military insignia and NYPD logos. The famous Diet Coke button also made a comeback, sitting prominently on the desk for quick soda orders.

Historic Art and Busts
The revamped decor included portraits of U.S. founders like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, and Benjamin Franklin. A bust of Winston Churchill returned, along with a new portrait of Andrew Jackson. Trump also kept a bust of Martin Luther King Jr., a carryover from the Biden administration.

Sculptures and Personal Commentary
Frederic Remington’s “The Bronco Buster” sculpture returned to the room, joined by a new eagle figure. While signing executive orders, Trump shared his thoughts on the new decor: “They took a very safe route, they don’t have any bad ones up there,” he joked, referring to the historical portraits.

With his personal touches and iconic style, Trump’s Oval Office reflects both his presidency and his enduring connection to his family and legacy.
