Sean “Diddy” Combs faces another serious accusation as a woman, identified only as Jane Doe, has filed a lawsuit claiming the rapper raped her in 2000 when she was just 16 years old.
At the time, Combs was in a public relationship with actress Jennifer Lopez.
Over 30 Lawsuits Filed Against Diddy
The latest lawsuit adds to a growing list of over 30 legal cases against Combs, all alleging various sexual offenses. According to court documents, the plaintiff worked as a nanny in a Manhattan apartment building in 2000. She alleges she met Combs and two other men, reportedly his associates, during her time there.
The woman claims Combs persistently offered her rides, which she repeatedly declined. However, after continued pressure from the men, she eventually accepted.
Plaintiff Alleges Drugging and Assault
The plaintiff says she grew alarmed when the car did not head toward her home. She alleges that Combs offered her a drink, which left her feeling disoriented, before raping her. According to her statement, she was later abandoned in the lobby of her apartment building.
She is now seeking compensation for financial losses, physical and emotional injuries, and ongoing pain.
Diddy’s Lawyers Deny All Allegations
Combs’ legal team has vehemently denied the claims. In a statement to People magazine, his attorneys said: “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it doesn’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually harassed or assaulted anyone—man, woman, adult, or minor.”
Connection to Jennifer Lopez
At the time of the alleged incident, Combs was publicly dating Jennifer Lopez. The two attended the MTV Music Awards as a couple in September 2000.
Lopez has not commented on the recent allegations, but in a 2003 interview with Vibe, she revealed their relationship was marred by infidelity. “I never caught him, but I knew,” she said, describing how Combs would often leave for clubs and not return.
As the legal battle unfolds, the new accusations further intensify scrutiny on Combs and his past actions.
