The Kansas City Chiefs, who have won the Super Bowl twice in a row, are in the process of securing the services of three-time All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans, as confirmed by a reliable source on Wednesday.

The source, who preferred to remain unnamed, revealed that official confirmation of the trade from the teams is still pending.

Reports indicate the Chiefs will trade a conditional fifth-round draft pick to the Titans as part of the deal.

At 32 years old, Hopkins will provide a crucial boost to quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City offensive unit, assisting in the absence of injured receiver Rashee Rice. This represents the second year of Hopkins’ tenure with the Titans, following seven seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and three with the Houston Texans.

So far this season, Hopkins has made 15 receptions for 173 yards and scored one touchdown.

In his impressive career, he has accumulated 943 receptions, totaling 12,528 yards and 79 touchdowns.
