Philadelphia warehouse engulfed in rapid blaze

0

A fire broke out in a commercial building in Philadelphia early Friday, engulfing the structure in flames and releasing thick, black smoke visible from a distance. The fire started at approximately 5:30 a.m. in a four-story warehouse located in the Frankford neighborhood of the city. Although the warehouse was unoccupied, there was an auto shop in the rear section.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but as a safety measure, several nearby residences were evacuated, and other residents were advised to remain indoors with windows closed. Around 150 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, which spread to burn trees and reportedly caused some vehicles to explode. The blaze was finally brought under control approximately three hours after it began. The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
